Dr. Bobby Mills, President Bridging The Digital Divide. As president Dr.
Mills is responsible for insuring the BDD is performing its mission as
stated in the by laws of the 501 (C) (3) Document. He will also works
with public relations and the fundraising efforts. Dr. Mills is a
professional sociologist with a doctorate degree from Syracuse
University. He has worked at major universities in New York, Illinois,
Washington DC, and Texas. For almost twenty years he served in various
capacities at Texas Southern University. |

Wil Guidry, Chief Operating Officer:
Wil is responsible for managing the day-to-day
operations of BDD. Because of his computer
expertise he also works with Johnny to installs labs and etc. Wil’s
thirty four years of experience includes most aspect of computing. As a
software developer he devised several hashing technique with the
use of C++ to speed the customer’s processing by a factor of 100+;
designed a system at Texas Southern University to trace
malicious calls to the University such as bomb threats or threatening
calls to university personnel and also saved the University up to
$100,000 by programming a 911 emergency application on their system
rather than buying equipment and software suggested by the local
telephone company; and integrated over a Ethernet LAN all the
computer within Kaiser Permanente system through out the city of Los
Angeles including their laboratory computers into a cohesive network,
using the communication software that he wrote in VAX assembly
language for the LU6.2 APPC SNA Gateway to IBM as well as DECNET and
LAT. . As a computer center director he designed
and implemented, base on the University requirement of a 100%
uptime, a VAX cluster system consisting of three VAXes with an
uninterrupted power source that regenerate in owns AC power; and if any
member of the cluster crashes for any reason, other members of the
cluster will take over the processing without the users noticing the
crash. As a network administrator he designed a campus
wide area fiber optic backbone to network all of the PC base local
area networks on campus, the VAX cluster system , and the AT&T UNIX
systems; to become the nerve center for all of the communication
needs of the university such as the internet
teleconferencing, data and voice communication, CATV, fire and
burglar alarms, video surveillance, and etc. |

Johnny Molock BS, MBA, Microsoft Certified
Professional (MCP): Technical Director of Bridging The Digital Divide
Inc, Johnny provides technical leadership and the necessary vision to
fulfill BDD’s mission. Under Johnny’s technical leadership BDD has
created over two hundred Information Technology Centers throughout the
Houston area. BDD established the first Wireless Internet Community in
Houston at the Independence Hall apartment complex for the physically
challenged. BDD established and maintained computer technology centers
at the George R. Brown Convention Center for Katrina victims. Because of
that initiative the Houston Endowment and the National Cristina
Foundation provided funds and resources to create information technology
centers for organizations supporting the Katrina relief effort. (15
Information Technology Centers were established. The ITC’s are used for
the following: job training, pre-school education, after school
programs, Internet access, FEMA and Red Cross assistance. Prior to
Bridging The Digital Divide Johnny served as technical director for
“Technology For All”: where he and his technical team established over
100 information technology centers in community base organizations
throughout the Houston area. Johnny also worked at Texas Southern
University as Director of Academic Computing & Networking Services.
While at TSU Johnny designed and setup TSU’s first web page and Johnny’s
department was the first to provide e-mail to faculty and students.
While serving in the United State Air Force Johnny received the US Air
Force commendation medal for valor. Johnny is married with three kids.

Ricky
Winslow, Program Devolvement Director & Community Relations: A
former University of Houston basketball star and one
of the final members of the school's famed
Phi Slamma Jamma teams. Ricky develops and implements programs for
BDD. It was Ricky’s ideal to have a Computer Olympic Challenge. Ricky
is also president and founder of our sister organization the
ROWDY Foundation. ROWDY offers a mentoring program that seeks to nurture
the mental, physical, cultural, emotional, and psychological needs of
adolescents and young adults. Winslow starred at UH from 1983-87,
playing in the 124 games and scoring 1,548 points. He also played on the
Cougars' 1983-84 NCAA Tournament Final Four team with Akeem Olajuwon.
The Houston native was taken in the second round in the 1987 National
Basketball League draft by the Chicago Bulls and played a season with
the Milwaukee Bucks before moving to Europe to play professional
basketball. |

John Gay, Marketer: John is a graduate of
Texas Southern University, specializes in Radio/TV programming during
his years on campus at KTSU Radio 90.9FM. In many capacities as disc
jockey, talks show host and executive producer, Mr. Gay trained dozens
of students through radio programming such as "TSU Magazine", "Kidd's
Jamm", "Be Yourself" and numerous interview segment programs for more
than a decade. He developed community affairs programming for the local
Pacifica station (KPFT 90.1FM), most notably hosting "Contemporary
Conundrum" on Friday nights. John coordinates press conferences,
recruits professional support services, mobilizes organizational
alliances in the non-profit community and provided tech support for the
development of all ongoing Digital Inclusion Projects sponsored by BDD.
Mr. Gay is a married father of three daughters and grandfather of five.
